Who is Bee Powell?

Bee Powell is an On Air Host, Journalist, Public Speaker, Professional Model, and Author. The Houston native gained experience in areas of entertainment, politics, education, economics, youth, and community spanning back over 10 years.

Bee has been featured in magazines, blogs, tv & digital shows, and live from red carpet events! Her work has appeared on Xfinity/Comcast, Afterbuzz TV, Black Hollywood Live, BET Networks, Coeus Magazine, Entertainment Voice Magazine, and Teen-Chic Magazine, just to name a few.

In 2010, she teamed up with her big sister and created a hand-crafted jewelry line, “LALi” (Live. Authentic. Love. individuals.) A brand geared towards empowering inner city and foster teen girls ages 13-18 about beauty within, sex trafficking, and the importance of getting an education.

In 2016, she created her second brand, “Honeybees & Wallflowers”. The brand is geared towards empowering girls + women in the digital age to BLOOM in their purpose. The platform also provides a ‘community safe space’ for them to gain support, advice, knowledge, empowerment, and love from Bee. She completed her first book entitled, “Honeybees & Wallflowers” slate for release in Summer 2019 at Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.

Today, Bee continues doing counseling sessions for Millennials, speaking engagements at schools internationally, community events, and social outreach through her platforms. Hosting and Reporting at digital shows, red carpets, and events. Her entire brand is geared towards the protection and positive growth of youth and Millennials. Bee Powell now resides in Houston, Texas with her husband; Published Songwriter, Producer, and Agricultural Farmer Joseph Powell, who she wed in June 2016.
